Temi has been a pharmacist for over ten years and has specialised in travel health for the past two years at Day Lewis Widmore on Widmore Road in Bickley, Bromley. She is also a qualified independent prescriber, reflecting her commitment to delivering the highest level of patient care.

Temi is British Nigerian, and she brings a perspective to travel health that many patients find genuinely eye-opening. One of the most common misconceptions she encounters is the belief that being born in — or having family roots in — a country automatically provides protection against its diseases. As Temi explains: “I hear this regularly, and it’s an important myth to tackle. Your body doesn’t carry lifelong immunity just because of where you were born. If you’ve grown up in the UK, your immune system has had very different exposures, and you can be just as vulnerable as any other traveller.” It’s a message that has helped many of her patients avoid serious illness abroad.

Outside of the pharmacy, Temi is a passionate dancer and singer — so when she’s not giving travel health advice, she can usually be found on a dancefloor somewhere.
